Well I thought I was going to keep this blog going but it has been about 6 weeks since I have written anything at all. Still have pain in my hand while trying to metal detect but it is getting better. Ordered a new truck Jan 11 and picked it up on Feb 15 spent most of the week getting new bed liner,undercoat,and clear coat put on it. Then on Friday I went down and got a new tonneau cover put on it. Sunday took a good friend of mine and went down to OBX treasure hunting and 4 wheeling. We did not find any gold but we had a nice time.

Well it has been over a week since I last blogged.Weather warmed up for a few days the first of the week and I went down to the beach for a couple hours but did not find any treasures to speak of my hand still hurts a lot trying to swing detector. Been going to the gym trying to get my hand healed enough to be able to metal detect with out it hurting so much. Here are a couple pictures of the beach on Monday.

January 2010

Well here it is the first couple weeks of January and it has been cold. We had a great Christmas with 17 who came over to dinner at Norma's Mom. Then the day after I had my 3 boys Christopher and his finance Morgan, Dennis and his girl friend Jackie and Douglas all came over for a nice breakfast. Norma's mom even came over and ate with us. It is always good when you can have the family all together. Had carpal tunnel surgery on my right hand Dec.8 and went back to the doctor for my last visit yesterday. Hope I can get back out Metal Detecting soon. Went down yesterday to the ford dealer and ordered me a new F150 4x4 Lariat Red Candy Metallic it should be here in about 6 to 8 weeks.
